Arthur King
Arthur King is a Perth based cover band, pushing the boundaries and expectations of the word 'duo'.
Arthur King produces a massive sound, capable of re-producing the songs from all your favourite bands and artists, 100% live.
Singer/guitarist Matt Burke uses an array of octave, loop and harmony pedals, through a guitar and bass amp.
Combined with fellow WA Academy of Performing Arts graduate Andrew Barnett's dynamic drumming to play the latest hits plus all your favourites, with the option of Andrew jumping behind the DJ decks between sets available to keep the groove going!
The guys were sensational! Even did an encore for my daughters! Thank you so much we had a really enjoyable time.
Sarah Appleton (Engagement) – March 2015The boys were great. Unfortunately our turn out was not great however that was not due to the band at all. Those who attended enjoyed themselves.
Clint (Private Function) – April 2015These young blokes are great. We were really happy with their performance and their attitude right from set up to packing up. Nice blokes who I would recommend to anyone.
Thanks to your agency as well. You guys were great. Made it all very easy and care free for me- organising these things is some what out of my comfort zone.
I just wanted to say thank you for helping us to find a band for our wedding over the weekend. The Arthur King guys were fantastic. Not only did they perform incredibly well and kept people on the dancefloor all night, but we had a few issues with timing due to some catering problems, and they were really flexible about doing their set lists. I couldn't recommended them highly enough!
Jo Sawyer – November 2015The band was GREAT! They were perfect for the venue and the guests really enjoyed listening to them.
Lisa Murray (Corporate Function) – November 2015I have been meaning to get back to you to let you know that they were great! Unfortunately they didn’t get much back from the crowd that night as everyone was too busy talking and having a good time! They read the crowd really well though and added to the great ambience of the evening. They were amazing performers and I would highly recommend them to others.
Lucinda Ryan (Corporate Function) – February 2016They were so good! We were very happy. Very talented pair!
Rachel Darcey (Wedding) – October 2016They were amazing! Brilliant in fact. I loved them!
Beta Fleay (Community Event) – October 2016I just wanted to say thanks so much for all your help in the lead up to these three events. Friday night's event was a huge success! Arthur King were incredible. The boys are so professional and so easy to deal with, and Matt's voice is amazing. Honestly couldn’t fault them. Will definitely be booking Arthur King again for future events and look forward to working with you all.
ATL Events (Corporate Event) – November 2016Thank you Matthew and Andrew from Arthur King for your live performance during our wedding reception. All our guests were delighted with your songs and you contributed to a fantastic and magical atmosphere. Such awesome musicians!
