Katherine Curnow
Katherine is a seasoned vocalist and performer having sung and been vocally trained for almost 20 years. She has evolved and blossomed as a performer and singerwho breathes new life into her favourite tunes with her unique and creative interpretations every time she steps on stage.
Katherine has remained a formidable force on both the London, UK, and local music scene for the past five years, including performing as a backing vocalist at venues such as Bush Hall and The Troubadour and various duo gigs in London as well as regular shows at The Ellington Jazz club and other venues around Perth.
She is a versatile vocalist, who likes to take risks and is constantly experimenting with new sounds and incorporating a lot of electronic elements into her performances
Katherine’s sultry and soulful vocals are drawn from her deep rooted love of soul, jazz, blues, R&B and hip hop music; heavily influenced by artists such as Donny Hathaway, D’angelo, Erykah Badu, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill and Jojo.
Available to perform in solo, duo, trio or larger band formats.
